Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the developer of Glance: SAT® Vocab Prep("Glance," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our iOS mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App where required by law.

Glance is an educational vocabulary practice tool for SAT® preparation. The App uses:

• Passive exposure — vocabulary on Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
• Active recall — short daily quizzes and spaced repetition

The App is a supplemental study resource. It does not replace school, tutoring, official College Board materials, or a full test-prep program.

SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, Glance.

IMPORTANT: Glance does not guarantee any specific SAT® score, score improvement, college admission outcome, or academic result.

Outcomes depend on many factors, including your effort, consistency, prior knowledge, other preparation, and test-day performance. Any examples or progress metrics in the App are for motivation and tracking only.

• The App is intended for users preparing for the SAT®, typically high school students and similar learners.
• The App is not directed to children under 13.
• Glance does not require you to create an account. Your learning data is stored on your device as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial educational use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App
• Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Use automated means to scrape or extract content at scale
• Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

All content in the App — including vocabulary entries, definitions, example sentences, memory hooks, design, graphics, software, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, publish, or commercially exploit App content without our prior written permission.

The name Glance, associated logos, and product branding are our property. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

7.1 General

Glance may offer free features and premium features. Premium features may require a paid subscription or, when offered, a free trial or limited preview period. What is free or premium is described in the App and on the App Store product page.

7.2 Billing through Apple

All payments, free trials, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and refunds are processed by Apple through your Apple ID and the App Store. We do not process payment cards directly. We use RevenueCat only to read subscription status from Apple so premium features can unlock; RevenueCat does not process your payments.

By subscribing, you also agree to Apple's applicable terms and payment policies.

7.3 Subscription plans (as offered in the App)

When available, Glance may offer one or more auto-renewing subscription plans, including:

• 1 month ("SAT Sprint"): Billed monthly (e.g. $9.99/month)
• Test Season (3 months): Billed every 3 months (e.g. $24.99 / 3 months)
• Annual ("Full SAT Prep"): Billed yearly (e.g. $49.99/year)

The 3-month "Test Season" plan may appear only when your stated SAT test date is within approximately 90 days. Plan availability, names, and prices may vary by region and over time.

Actual prices, currency, and trial length are always those displayed in the App and App Store at the time you subscribe. Example prices above are illustrative; the price shown at purchase controls. We may change prices for new subscribers in the future.

7.4 Free trials and promotional access

Glance may offer two different promotional access options. They are not the same.

7.4.1 Seven-day free trial (Apple subscription)

If we offer a 7-day free trial through the App Store (primary paywall CTA: "Start my 7-day free trial"):

• Billing is handled by Apple; a valid payment method may be required by Apple.
• You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged, unless otherwise stated at purchase.
• Unless you cancel, the trial may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown.
• Trial eligibility and length may vary by region and App Store rules.

7.4.2 Three-day full access pass (no payment method)

During onboarding, Glance may offer a 3-day full access pass:

• No payment method is required and no App Store subscription is created.
• Access is stored on your device only (typically 72 hours from when you start the pass).
• When the pass expires, premium features end unless you subscribe through Apple.
• We may change, limit, or discontinue this offer at any time.
• This pass is separate from the 7-day Apple free trial in §7.4.1.

7.5 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate applicable to your plan.

You can manage auto-renewal and cancel in:

Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Glance

(or the Apple subscription management page linked from the App).

7.6 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time through your Apple account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You typically retain premium access until that period ends.

Refunds are handled by Appleaccording to Apple's refund policies. Contact Apple Support for billing disputes; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

7.7 Price changes

We may change subscription prices for new purchases. Apple will notify you of price changes to existing subscriptions where required.

Widgets

You may add Glance widgets to your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Widget content may be visible to anyone who can see your device. You are responsible for choosing whether to use widgets in public or shared settings.

Notifications

Notifications are optional. If enabled, the App may send local reminders (for example, a daily check-in). You can disable them in iOS Settings.

Apple permissions

Some features require iOS permissions (such as notifications). You may deny permissions; related features may not work.

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful, personal educational purposes
• Provide reasonable accuracy in optional onboarding information
• Not misuse the App, widgets, or support channels
• Manage subscriptions and trials through your Apple account
• Comply with all applicable laws and these Terms

The App may link to or open:

• glanceprep.com (Help, legal pages)
• Instagram and TikTok (optional social links)
• Apple (App Store, subscriptions, reviews)

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled (including on-device storage, the 3-day full access pass, and Apple/RevenueCat subscription validation).

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT USE WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR TEST SCORE OR EDUCATIONAL OUTCOME.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GLANCE AND ITS DEVELOPER, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

This includes, without limitation, damages related to:

• SAT® scores or lack of improvement
• College or scholarship outcomes
• Loss of learning progress
• Device or widget display issues
• Subscription billing handled by Apple

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50.00) IF YOU USED ONLY FREE FEATURES.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glance and its developer from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, except where prohibited by law.

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms at https://www.glanceprep.com/termswith a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel any subscription through Apple.

We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. These Terms survive termination to the extent they must survive (for example, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires a different forum. You may also have mandatory consumer rights in your home country that cannot be waived.

Before filing a claim, please contact support@glanceprep.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

You acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and Glance, not Apple Inc.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• Apple is not responsible for product claims, intellectual property infringement claims, or third-party claims related to the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented at purchase in the App or App Store, constitute the entire agreement between you and Glance regarding the App.
